A bedroom is more than just a place to sleep for young people in crisis accommodation- it’s a place to heal
GIVIT
Our crisis Accommodation Youth Refuges support young people between the ages of 16-25 who are experiencing homelessness and assist them to access stable housing and support services.
Our refuges provided young people with a safe place to stay during housing crisis and a connection to support services.
We’re currently working to upgrade our refuge bedrooms and lounge room to transform them into warm, welcoming spaces where young people can feel safe and comfortable.
While refuges provide the basics and essentials for the young people living in them, we are unable to provide the comforts that create a home to heal in.
With your help our crisis bedrooms can become nurturing spaces where the young people we support can feel safe and begin to work toward their goals, after significant instability and disruption.
Any donations would go to directly to the frontline of supporting vulnerable young people and would be greatly appreciated by the young people that we support.
