Single Mother Without Family in Australia

My client is a single mother with a 2 year old. She fled her home country and is in Australia without family. She is illiterate and settlement has been challenging. It is hard for her to understand the various systems in Australia which has led to some difficult moments. For instance, she was more than $300 in debt at one point as she couldn't understand gap fees at child care centres. Another time, her Centrelink payments stopped and it took considerable effort to have it reinstated, and she could not afford food.
Still my client tries her best. She doesn't ask for much and doesn't make excuses. She is enrolled in English classes and learning the language slowly. She is a lovely lady and has the warmest smile when you meet her.
The pram that my client has is very basic. It wobbles and doesn't turn nor handle curbs well. She struggles using it. She loves her son very much and hopes to give him a better life.
