This mum is an Aboriginal mother of four who was diagnosed with cervical adenocarcinoma in August. The cancer has spread to her ovaries. She has almost completed five weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, with brachytherapy at the Royal Brisbane Hospital as her next step.
At home, her fridge has broken, making it difficult to store food for her family. Her eldest son has been helping with cooking, but they are struggling to manage meals.
Support with a new fridge would ease stress for this mum and allow her to focus on her treatment and recovery while caring for her children.
