Female (38years old) with 5 children escaped from DFV in 2022, are currently residing in a crisis accommodation property. Prior to working with our organisation was living in refugee. Her youngest child (4 years old) is being supported by NDIS and is critically high needs child. This family is eligible for a social housing property outcome due to affordability. This individual is very kind, intelligent and is a caring parent. She is only receiving single parenting payment from Centrelink and may consider going into employment or education to upskill herself once they find a long-term housing outcome.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
