This Christmas, we’re reaching out to ask for your kindness and generosity to support a local Indigenous family - a single mother and her three children aged 9, 15 & 16 who are experiencing significant hardship.
After leaving a long and traumatic domestic and family violence situation, and recovering from substance use, this mother is trying to create a safe and stable home for her children. Currently unemployed, she is struggling to cover even the most basic costs of living. The family often experiences food scarcity and the children wear clothes that are too small and worn. The financial strain is immense, rent and bills take priority, leaving little to nothing left for fresh food, clothing, or any extras.
With your help, we hope to provide this family with a Christmas hamper filled with fresh food and treats, new clothes and a few special gifts to bring smiles on Christmas morning. Your kindness will remind them that they are not alone and there is hope for a brighter future.
