Family of two just started renting in the Gold coast region lost furniture & clothing with onslaught of TC Alfred in the area
2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred
Adult and teenager who just moved into the area had their lounge temporarily on the balcony and the cyclonic rain damaged it along with several boxes of clothes also on the balcony which had gotten mouldy. Estimated to be thousands of dollars worth and including shoes. Her daughters clothes were also included in those boxes. Some electrical equipment was also damaged beyond repair.
