Single mum of 4 who escaped family violence and has been living in emergency and crisis accommodation for 4 years, has found their forever home. Due to the impact of childhood trauma and family violence trauma on all 5 members of the family, mum has not been able to begin working. Instead she has focused on keeping the family healthy and stable
Now ahead of their move, the family has no furniture or houshold items to set up their home, nor the means to pay for new or second hand items.
They are seeking support with white goods (washing machine, dryer, fridge), as well as general household items to ensure they have a fully equipped kitchen (crockery, cutlery, kettle, etc), and homewares (lamps, bedding and blankets).
