I’m reaching out today on behalf of a tenant we are supporting who has just been needed to vacate her previous home and move into a new house with nearly nothing. She’s working hard to rebuild but is under immense financial pressure. With the move combined with the cost of living and the holiday season approaching, every little relief helps.
What she really needs right now are basic household items - linens, towels, kitchen essentials, cleaning supplies, to turn this new house into a safe, liveable home. A $200 Kmart voucher would make a world of difference: it would allow her to purchase those essentials without sacrificing other critical needs like rent, utilities or food.
