This family of six is facing one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. With four young children, three under the age of four, including one with Down syndrome.
Recently, the mother suffered a miscarriage an incredibly painful loss on top of the daily challenges of raising small children. Currently her partner is actively searching for work, but job opportunities have been hard to come by. In the midst of all this, the family is currently living in crisis accommodation, struggling to maintain stability and security for their children.
Caring for a child with Down syndrome already requires added emotional, medical, and financial resources. When combined with the trauma of pregnancy loss, financial instability, and the uncertainty of temporary housing, this family is doing all they can just to survive each day.
