Grocery Voucher - $20

Women who attend this ward are struggling with their mental health and have usually experienced trauma, domestic violence, homelessness and are missing their kids and family environment. We recognise that being admitted to an inpatient unit can be scary and overwhelming, particularly for those people who have experienced trauma and violence.

The campaign aims to raise awareness, prevent violence and create a safer, more respectful society by challenging harmful gender stereotypes empowering communities to take action. We feel it is incredibly important to engage in this campaign as we have so many people admitted to the ward that have experienced family violence.

We would like to do this by having a range of art and craft groups and group BBQ where families, staff and consumers can attend and learn more about the campaign. We are hoping that some vouchers will go towards buying food and craft resources to help promote the campaign.
