recent amputee who had transport stolen while in hospital
GIVIT
recent amputee, out of hospital now after foot surgery and has limited mobility. now has many medical and aftercare appts to attend and nil transportation to get around, after an amputation on their foot - (toe)
long known to our service and a lovely, intelligent, proud guy who has experienced lengthy, numerous medical treatment and trauma (been in major car accident, had workplace injuries and of late ignored by a public system under huge demand that led to tissue death and amputation) that has majorly impacted their quality of life for years now. still housed - just - in public housing building - but while he was in hospital his bike was stolen. he is meant to limit use of feet and walking but also has medical appointments to attend so support would be so gratefully received.
