19 year old young woman has been with an abusive partner for 3 years. She has recently escaped domestic violence. This woman was locked in a cupboard for 24 hours and police found her. She had to stay in intensive care for 3 weeks after the incident and suffered severe injuries that almost resulted in death. Now she has secured safe housing however has no furniture and is currently sleeping on a blow-up mattress. She is additionally recovering from the trauma of her 6 month old baby passing away.
This young woman was working before the final incident of abuse but is now not able to work due to the emotional and physical trauma that she has been left with. Any assistance you can offer this young woman would be greatly appreciated.
