Two floods came first, washing through her home and memories without warning. She cleaned, dried, salvaged what she could, and started again. Then came the house fire. In a single night, everything she had worked to restore was gone.
But she is still here.
Piece by piece, she has kept going—finding strength in small wins, in kind words, in community cuppas and quiet moments where hope felt possible again. This time the road has been longer, heavier, and lonelier than before, but she hasn’t stopped walking it.
