This client is a 29-year-old transgender woman. At 15, they entered the DHS care system and was in foster and residential housing until she was 18, after which she has now experienced recurring homelessness into adulthood. She is a strong and passionate advocate for herself and the LGBTIQ+ community and can often be found supporting others who are struggling. This client has requested a mobile phone to keep up with support appointments and to help her stay safe at night in the community, from which she has experienced much discrimination and violence
