Victoria Flooding January 2024
This family is currently navigating an extremely challenging time. After previously being involved with family services due to substance use, they have made incredible progress and were recently reunified. They have worked hard to rebuild their lives & provide stability for their two children. Until recently, they were living in a caravan park, but through persistence and support, they have just secured more stable housing. Both children live with chronic medical conditions that require ongong medication . The family have received devastating news. The children's stepfather has been diagnosed with advanced cancer, with metastases in his lungs, bones, and brain. The prognosis is poor, and the emotional impact on the entire family is profound. Mum is unable to work due to her own mental health struggles and mum is at crisis point.
