Young Aboriginal mother with a 5-year-old daughter is needing to start again after fleeing significant family violence.
This mother has had to work hard her entire life coming from significant family violence and neglect as a child spending time in OOHC to building a life for her and her daughter where she is studying at university level, had stable housing and looking at career options to have it all gone in a matter of hours following a drug fueled violent incident from her ex partner. She has spent the last 10 months in a women's shelter rebuilding her life and has finally been offered stable housing and looking to move into that once she can obtain items for the home. She is in need of all whitegoods items, a bed for herself and for her daughter, kitchen items and a TV if possible.
I have applied with Safe at Home for cameras and locks for her property and hopeful this is approved.
Any support she is able to get I know will be absolutely appreciated.
