UPDATE: 7/11/25 They are on a carer's pension and are struggling with rebuilding their house due to not being eligible for any Resilent homes program. They live on a fixed income and have ongoing medical issues
UPDATE: 28/11/24: This elderly couple with a son have been through a lot and are still struggling financially and mentally. Any donation for a food and xmas voucher would help them immensely during Xmas. thank you.
Elderly couple living in flood affected home with teenage son. Flood water reached 2 metres in their home in which they lost all their belongings. They have received no grants and no word from Govt agency. There are mould issues and they dont have a functioning kitchen. They are living on one source of income and are all struggling mentally and financially. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to give them a sense of hope. They are in urgent need of a washing machine, clothing, and oven is appreciated. thank you.
