63 year old woman living in Biggera Waters is facing significant financial hardship due to ongoing health issues, including coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, an underactive thyroid, PTSD, and trauma. She is a breast cancer survivor and has undergone multiple surgeries, including on her knee and ankle, which affect her mobility and ability to work. Much of her limited income goes toward essential medical treatment and psychiatric care.
She was recently saving for a replacement washing machine after her old one broke down, but the money was stolen. She also lacks basic furniture, including a couch, and is living in a small space with high needs. Despite these challenges, she is actively working to maintain her health and has recently secured housing after experiencing homelessness. She has also taken steps to disconnect from violent individuals in her life. Any assistance we can offer her would be greatly appreciated.
