First Nations Support
Domestic & Family Violence
This 22-year-old First Nations mother, a survivor of extreme trauma and severe domestic violence, has shown incredible strength and resilience in rebuilding a safe and stable home. After escaping a traumatic and abusive past, she worked tirelessly to create a nurturing environment filled with essential furniture, appliances, and baby items, everything needed for her young family to thrive.
Tragically, while she was temporarily away from her home, unknown individuals unlawfully entered the property and took occupation. During this time, her home was vandalized, and the majority of her belongings were either stolen or destroyed, including vital white goods, furniture and clothes. This devastating event has not only caused significant material loss but has also deeply impacted her emotional wellbeing and sense of security.
Facing this overwhelming setback with limited financial resources, this young mother cannot afford to recover what has been lost.
