A loving mother is currently homeless with her teenage child due to domestic violence involving controlling and financially abusive behaviour. She did not choose to leave her home, but her husband has barred her from returning for six months and she has no access to financial support.
Her teen initially left home to stay with friends, and when this arrangement did not work out, the mother came to support her. Upon doing so, her husband reinforced that she could not return, leaving them both without a home.
She is not yet receiving Centrelink and has no income, so they are camping at a local ground - the teen in a tent and mum in a swag. Any support for this family would be deeply appreciated
