My client is a proud rural Aussie man with Indigenous heritage who is facing a very tough time. He is living with the effects of severe childhood trauma and is currently going through the long redress process, which can take years. Because of this, he is unable to work and is doing everything he can to focus on healing.
He lives with his childhood sweetheart, who works part time and is doing her best to support the family. With rising costs and only one income, things are extremely tight.
They are loving parents who want to make Christmas special for their children, but there is simply no room in the budget. He is a true battler with a warm smile and twinkly eyes who deserves a bit of Christmas sparkle after everything he has faced.
A small amount of support would help give this family some joy, breathing space, and a calmer Christmas together.
