38 year old single father caring for daughter; escaped DV, facing hardship, needs clothing, furniture & essentials support.
Domestic & Family Violence
GIVIT
38 year old single father recently relocated from Queensland to Sydney with his daughter after escaping domestic violence from her mother, whose substance use and violent behaviour created an unsafe environment. Both father and daughter were homeless for a time and have only just been allocated housing, but they have no furniture or household items. His daughter also has very limited clothing due to the urgent relocation. He receives a single parent payment from Centrelink, but it is not enough to cover essentials such as clothing and household needs. Support with clothing, furniture, and homewares would help them establish a safe and stable home. He has a history of substance use but has been clean for seven years and is committed to providing a secure environment for his daughter. He is actively engaging with services, travelling often for support, and is in the process of enrolling his daughter in a local school. Any assistance we can offer him would be greatly appreciated.
