When exploring options with client - he stated that he could benefit from having access to a camping stretcher which allows him to be elevated from the ground, and this can be portable for him both inside and outside the home. Reports that he already has a swag that can be used to be placed on top of a stretcher. The cost is roughly $100-$200 and can be purchased from places such as BCF, anaconda etc. Client would greatly benefit from a voucher to assist with this purchase.

Client is an older aboriginal man that is currently sleeping on the floor in his DOH rental. Client has a long history of homelessness and states that he finds beds very uncomfortable as he is not used to them. Reports that he prefers to sleep on a flat surface. Client is seeking support to obtain a new type of bedding for his home that he is able to take inside/outside as he prefers to sleep outside under the clouds sometimes. He is experiencing financial distress due to his existing debts and current cost of living.
