50 year old First Nations male recently housed after experiencing long term homelessness. This individual suffers from complex mental health and trauma after acquiring a brain injury from a violent assault. He has been unable to work since the injury and became financially unstable resulting in homelessness. Prior to his injury this individual was a chef and ex rural firefighter, he is very proud of his family heritage and hopes to make his new home a safe, secure and welcoming space for himself and his elderly mother who will be coming to live with him.
