A young woman who sustained a spinal cord injury and a severe traumatic brain injury as a result of domestic violence is currently living alone and urgently needs a mobile phone to stay connected with her family and maintain social contact. She has a very high-level spinal cord injury, using the wheelchair, and for her, being without a phone is essentially the same as being trapped inside four walls with no ability to call for help.
The lack of a phone directly impacts her safety, especially because she lives alone.
