This family have an asylum seeker background. The mother has a number of physical and mental health conditions as a result of past injury and trauma. She has difficulty walking and performing basic functions and can't look after her two children (aged 3 and 6) on her own. Some supports are in place but not sufficient to meet all of the family's needs. Her husband isn't working but is hoping to once his youngest child is in school. He also has health issues as does the youngest child. They have housing but have substantial rental arrears and have been threatened with eviction.
