A resilient Year 11 student has overcome immense challenges, including family violence, time in care, and a lack of parental support. With her father recently released from prison and struggling with addiction, and no relationship with her mother, she lives with family friends who provide a roof over her head but little financial help. Despite this, she has turned her life around. Once disengaged from school, she now attends regularly, works part-time to support herself, and is succeeding in both her studies and TAFE courses. She dreams of becoming an air hostess and knows that education is her gateway to independence and a stable home. Her most significant barrier is access to a reliable computer, as her previous one has broken. A donation, voucher, or computer would directly support her education and future goals.
