Occupant injured during TC Alfred loses a large quantity of bedding and personal belongings
2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred
During TC Alfred the rain was so strong that it came through all the windows. Everything got wet and became mouldy. The occupant fell down the stairs during the storm and fractured their eye socket and ribs. They were lucky that someone found them and called an ambulance. They have lost all bedding and mattresses, all linen and pillows. Lost all clothing everything got wet and mouldy, with no power to wash or dry anything.
