Client's home deemed unliveable from damage in 2022 floods

Client lives with complex health issues including cerebral palsy while also caring for nine-year-old disabled daughter. Dispute with insurance over replacement of household goods still ongoing. Client has purchased special medical bed for daughter exhausting funds and is sleeping on single mattress on floor in two story house. Client has mobility issues and is reduced to crawling from upstairs bedroom downstairs to lower level to access basic food and necessities. Client has reached out to disaster recovery as a last resort for assistance with suitable SDA housing and the access to legal for resolution with flood issues. Client is currently 36kilos as access to food when alone means crawling to lower level to access wheelchair, this has resulted in bare skin on shins and knee area of her limbs. If client had a electric bed it would enable her to get in and out into her mobility aid and allow greater access to basic needs.
