Single Mum who lives on a remote farm with an ageing parent with mobility issues and a 4 year old toddler. Mum has sustained a debilitating physical injury that affects her own mobility and makes it challenging for her to care for her father and young son. Both Mum and her son experience ongoing effects of trauma from the effects of domestic violence. They are eligible for play therapy and counselling services through our organisation however struggle to meet the cost of travel with no public transport options open to them. Living costs in general make it difficult for this family to keep up with groceries, medical support costs, and other general cost of living expenses.
