Disadvantaged older resident needing specialised rehabilitation by Exercise Physiologist so she can go back to work
GIVIT
Our older resident experienced a workplace injury in 2023, but her WorkCover claim was declined due to a pre-existing condition. With her medical certificate due to expire in March and her ability to return to work still unclear, her future feels uncertain. Her GP has recommended exercise physiology to aid her recovery; however, the lowest-cost sessions ($30 per week) are not affordable on her limited Centrelink income, placing her in a difficult financial and health position.
