This young man has been experiencing housing instability for a majority of his life due to parental substance misuse and incarceration and FDV. This has resulted in him sleeping in vacant car yards or parks due to a total lack of other options. He recently sustained a head injury that has resulted in a brain injury, however has been linked in with appropriate supports who are working to support him to stabilise and achieve his goals. One of these goals is to become a carpenter and he has enrolled into a carpentry TAFE course for next year which he is very proud of himself for.
