Single male awaiting kidney stone surgery, currently unable to work and needs support to afford ongoing pain medication.
A single male who arrived in Australia as a refugee in 2010 after fleeing religious persecution in Iran and the tragic death of his child. These traumatic experiences have resulted in complex PTSD, significantly affecting his ability to settle and maintain long-term employment. After many years, he has finally found some stability and has recently begun addressing his mental health. He was hopeful about rejoining the workforce, but this has been delayed due to a serious health issue—kidney stones requiring three surgeries (one completed). The rising cost of living and high rent have left him struggling to afford both food and essential pain medication. He receives the JobSeeker payment, but it is insufficient to cover his basic needs. Support is urgently needed to help him manage his health and recovery during this difficult time.
