Our organization is supporting a 17 year old young man who is a full-time secondary student completing year 12, who is independent and living out of home to access essential services. The young person is 8 weeks away from graduating high school with employment and study goals post-graduation.
The young person has been supporting themselves financially for some time, working multiple part-time jobs while in high school, and is facing economic hardship. We are looking to support the young person with some vouchers for them to purchase some clothing and personal items as they have outgrown most of their clothes, and have limited support in accessing new items. We would love to come alongside this young person with this support to relieve some financial stress, so they are able to focus their finances and resources towards their education, end of year 12 celebration and living expenses. It is a very exciting time for the young person as they look toward graduation.
