We’re supporting a brave single mum who has overcome homelessness and family violence. Despite her own challenges, she is doing everything she can to give her child, who lives with Autism and ADHD a safe and loving home.
The family has endured significant trauma, which continues to impact their daily lives and presents ongoing challenges in meeting the child’s developmental and emotional needs.
The mother is also managing her own mental health struggles, yet she remains deeply committed to her child wellbeing.
Right now, we are seeking support to provide her primary school-aged child with a desk and chair to create a quiet space for homework and learning. With a birthday coming up, the mother dreams of being able to gift her child a Lego set something that would bring joy, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
