My client is an elderly gentleman who has recently been approved for social housing after experiencing homelessness and living in temporary accommodation for the past three years due to losing his home in the 2022 floods. He has severe health issues, and his condition is deteriorating, with the possibility of requiring a leg amputation in the near future.
We have a very small window to move this client due to the short time frame given when a property becomes available with social housing. This stable housing will provide him with the long-term safety and security he desperately needs. Once he moves into his new home, He requires some essential household items to live independently and maintain his dignity, including a fridge, a washing machine, and a bed Additionally, he will need a removalist to help bring the rest of his belongings as he is unable to lift or carry large items and has no family to assist.
