Across our communities, an increasing number of people are being forced to make heartbreaking choices between putting food on the table, keeping the lights on, or filling the prescriptions they need to stay healthy. For those already experiencing financial stress, the cost of essential medication can become an impossible burden. When people are unable to afford their prescribed medicines, their health deteriorates, leading to worsening conditions, hospital visits, and greater strain on local health services.

We are working closely with individuals and families who are struggling to meet basic needs. Many of the people we support live with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or mental health conditions that require ongoing treatment. Others are experiencing temporary hardship such as job loss, housing instability, or family crisis which leaves them unable to afford their medication for weeks or months at a time.
