After escaping severe domestic violence and fleeing Melbourne for safety, she spent the past year living in long-stay motel accommodation with her beloved dog. The inability to access transitional housing due to pet restrictions left her with no other options, and this prolonged instability has taken a toll on her mental health. Despite these challenges, she has shown incredible resilience and has now been offered a permanent home - a place where she can finally feel safe and begin rebuilding her life. However, after a year in temporary accommodation, she owns very little beyond basic necessities. She needs essential household items to create a secure, comfortable environment for herself and her dog, turning this empty space into a true forever home. Your support will help her start fresh and move forward after an incredibly difficult journey
