This is the story of a family tha has dedicated themselves to caring for children in out-of-home care, despite facing their own significant challenges. Over the years, they have opened their home to children who have experienced trauma, ongoing grief, and repeated loss. Many of these children struggle with behaviours that stem from their early experiences, making daily life unpredictable and emotionally draining. The carers themselves have faced financial hardship and feel let down by the systems meant to support them. They have had to fight tirelessly to create stability, often without the resources most families take for granted. Yet, their love and commitment to keeping these children safe and nurtured have never wavered. This family’s story is one of resilience, but they need help to continue. Contributions will directly ease the financial strain, provide stability, and allow the children in their care to heal and grow in an environment that is safe, supportive and filled with hope
