This young sibling couple have faced years of instability, trauma, and homelessness. They have engaged in our service, due to leaving their family home that was marked by mental illness, family violence and repeated crises. Both young people are employed and work extremely hard to support themselves financially, with both siblings identifying a desire to further their education someday. Excitingly, they have recently been accepted into their very own, first private rental. This is a huge accomplishment that could not have been achieved without their self-advocacy, motivation, hard work, determination, and resilience. As they prepare to move into their own home and build their independence, they’re starting completely from scratch, without any of the basics. They urgently need help to make their new space livable and safe. Your support will help them have essential items and the comfort and stability they’ve never had.
