This mother fled domestic violence with her child and was couch surfing for 6 months. She has just secured housing however has minimal furniture. She only receives the family tax benefit and does not receive any child support. She is struggling financially after paying rent, basic necessities and utilities. Her and her son’s clothing was discarded due to mould caused by the recent cyclone. Her washing machine was also damaged. She is a very positive person and would only like to replace what has been damaged and is needed. Any offers of support would be greatly appreciated.
