This Cairns family is rebuilding after enduring severe domestic violence. For nearly 10 months, the mother and her four children moved between hotels to stay safe, often relocating when their location was discovered. They now have emergency housing, but their home is unfurnished and finances are critically strained. The two youngest children have asthma, and with extreme heatwaves in Far North Queensland, a portable air conditioner is urgently needed to protect their health. A double mattress is also essential for basic comfort. Rising living costs and the rental crisis leave them unable to afford food or gifts, adding stress during the holiday season. Your support will help restore safety, dignity, and stability for a family working hard to rebuild their lives.
