Assistance to set up their first home after years of homelessness/couch-surfing/sleeping rough, and in youth refuges.
GIVIT
This young person is seeking the support of the community around them to help turn their house into a home! This young person spent much of their earlier youth in and out of refuges due to FDV and neglect, followed by a period of homelessness (couch-surfing, sleeping rough). This young person has experienced AOD addiction, has an enduring lifelong mental health illness and physical disability that affects their day-to-day quality of life. This young person is incredibly excited about their first home, although due to financial hardship, is facing some difficulty furnishing it and purchasing all the essentials!
