73yo woman had her home completely inundated during the 2022 flood. She lost most of her belongings at this time. She has received a Buy Back to move her home to a flood free area. Staunchly independent she is managing the relocation herself. The additional costs and stress of the move have had there effect but she is resilient and has amazing determination. She hopes to visit her daughter in Brisbane over the week of Christmas. Any help to manage the costs of fuel and groceries over that time would really enable her to be with family at this time of year. With a break and time with family she will be better resourced to face the stress and challenge of the upcoming move.
