Young mum with disability struggling to make ends meet, recent relationship breakdown, needs a helping hand

Young mum (18) with complex disabilities, taking good care of her 20-month-old. Has recently split from father of child and had been forced interstate to stay with family as her only option. Has just returned to her home state and is currently in crisis accommodation. Her ex mother in law and extended family have been absolutely awful and have subjected her to more abuse and threats than she ever thought possible. She will need to start over and gather all household items/furniture again. Grew up in foster care and has significant trauma history. Has very little in the way of informal supports.
Would like to look at study options in the future to better herself and her son.
Does not like accepting "handouts" however would really appreciate some assistance at this time. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
