Eight-year-old, nonverbal twins, their 11-year-old sister, and their dad are facing unimaginable heartbreak after the sudden loss of their mum and wife. Tragically, she passed away from a medical episode while at the children’s hospital, where she was caring for one of the twins who had sustained serious burns.
In the wake of this tragedy, their dad has had to leave his FIFO job to become a full-time carer for his children. While he actively seeks local work, a chaplain has stepped in to provide access to Foodbank and emotional support as the family navigated the funeral and their new reality.
This Christmas will be incredibly tough for this family. We’d love your help to provide vouchers so their dad can purchase gifts for his kids and bring a little joy to their lives during this challenging time.
