A single mother and her two children have recently escaped domestic and family violence perpetrated by the children’s father. After a period of instability, the family has now been safely rehoused and is beginning the process of rebuilding their lives.
Due to the sudden nature of leaving the violent environment, the family arrived with very few belongings. The mother is doing her best to provide stability and routine for her children while recovering from significant trauma. Support through essential household items and children’s needs will greatly assist the family to feel safe, settled, and supported in their new home.
