A respected elder from the Cabbage Tree Island community has recently been housed through the Land Council, but has very few household items and no furniture. She urgently needs assistance. The CTI community was severely impacted by the 2022 flooding, resulting in the loss of all her belongings. Recently relying on temporary accommodation, she is battling cancer and other health conditions affecting her quality of life.
