Four months ago, this father’s world was shattered when he lost his 7-year-old son to cancer. Since then, he has been living in his van, struggling to come to terms with his loss while trying to survive day to day. The grief of losing a child is unimaginable, and without stable housing or support, the weight of that loss feels even heavier.
He is currently doing his best to manage basic needs in very difficult conditions while waiting for his MyGov account to be resolved so he can access essential financial support. Despite his circumstances, he remains polite, humble, and hopeful that life will eventually become more stable.
Right now, he simply needs a little help to ease some of the pressure as he grieves and begins to rebuild his life after such a heartbreaking loss.
