A young woman in her mid-20s is currently experiencing homelessness while managing complex mental health and substance use challenges. She was previously living in a shared house but faced ongoing emotional abuse from her landlord, who was also demanding an unfair share of rent and bills. Feeling unsafe, she eventually left the property and has since been couch surfing with friends, without a stable place to stay.
She has been in and out of mental health facilities for support and recovery. Currently unemployed and reliant solely on Centrelink, she is struggling to meet her basic living costs. With no family support or safe housing options, she urgently requires material aid assistance to help cover rent and essential bills while working with her support team to secure stable and safe accommodation.
Despite her own challenges, she remains deeply committed to giving back to her community. She actively volunteers her time to support others in need.
